Hike at the right time and you will see thousands of blooms like this.
That is no exaggeration , as you can see.

Another fun hike is Kelly's Run. This takes about 2 hours depending on your speed.
This is possibly the cleanest stream in Lancaster County as there is little farm run off.

Touquan Glen is so very special. It is not so spectacular like Rickett's glen, but it is so peaceful.

GRUBB LAKE a former open pit mine that filled in with water.
Amazing, this lake is 20 minutes from downtown Lancaster. I would bet 90% of Lancastrians have never seen it!
The trail around the lake is hilly at spots and is about a mile long.
It's is autumn , for sure.
Sometimes it's fun to look up straight to the tree tops.
You can see the lake through the trees.
I can't find a cloud in the sky.
But, I see the setting sun through the trees.
Believe it or not this small stream is the Susquehanna, just as it leaves it's source Lake Otsego.
This lake is the source of the Sussquehanna. It is located next to Cooperstown Ny
